Hi! My name is Ron and I love to Draw! I always have, and I always will. I studied illustration at Brigham Young University. I live in Provo, Utah with my beautiful wife. I currently work as a freelance illustrator and visual development artist for animation. My personal work includes figure drawings, anatomy studies, oil paintings and digital paintings. I love animation! I remember Saturday mornings as a kid, sitting down in front of our old Zenith TV with a big bowl of cereal watching Duck Tales and Ninja Turtles and thinking to myself “I want that job!”.

I also feel passionate about education. I teach figure drawing at the Beaux Arts Academy in Provo, Utah. I also Live Stream demo’s and classes and provide free online content to students who cannot physically be present in the studio. My philosophy is that quality drawing is based on fundamental principles. Once those principles are understood, they can be applied to any medium and to a myriad of styles. I try to teach these principles in a way that is simple and easy to understand.
