Designer and illustrator Rommel Ruiz was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, and moved to sunny Southern California to pursue his passion for creative expression. Incorporating influences from theater, film, animation, and mid-century design.

Rommel has produced work for Cartoon Network, Facebook, Amazon and the award-winning Luther documentary, and an ever-expanding list of clients. His book credits include Why Do We Say Good Night?, Golly’s Folly, and The Gospel in Color. He, his wife Anny, and their two joyful girls live in Los Angeles.
