With over 14 years of experience, Nekro has worked for publishers such as Harper Collins, Penguin Books, Random House and Tor Books among others in more than 20 countries. Illustrating books by authors such as Stephen King (The Dark Tower), Garth Nix (The keys to the Kingdom), Tamora Pierce (The song of lioness) and Philip Reeve (Fever Crumb, from the Mortal Engines universe). He has worked with art directors such as Irene Gallo (Tor books), Jon Schindehette (Disney, Fox Entertainment, Warner Brothers, Hasbro, Wizards of the Coast) and Lauren Panepinto (Creative Director for Orbit Books and Yen Press). He has also worked with film director Alex De La Iglesia and with the Avalanch group where he worked as a character designer on a short film that was nominated for a GOYA Award. He has published two books of his personal work with Editorial Standard (13 inches and XIII: The art of Nekro) and a third is prepared. He has a Tarot edited by Fournier and his own collection of figures. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Germany, Japan and the United States. Some of his clients are Sony, Konami, Sideshow, Bandai Nanco and 20th Century Fox, among others.
