Megan

Brain

Megan Brain grew up in Los Angeles California and specializes in 3 dimensional paper sculpture designs.  Her career in the arts began in 2004 at Cartoon Network Studios when she art directed an animated paper sculpture music video for Andre Benjamin’s  “Class of 3000”.  Since that time, Megan has been primarily working on various projects for Walt Disney Imagineering.  That is the creative division of Disney responsible for designs and builds for Disney Theme Parks, resorts, attractions, cruise ships, and entertainment. She has created both original art and model builds for 12 projects there. Her paper sculptures have also been featured in other the children’s television shows such as “Yo Gabba Gabba”, TV commercials (United Airlines “Heart” 2008, “Toujeo” 2015), and film (Dreamworks “Madagascar 2” 2008).  In 2016 she collaborated with her husband Shannon Tindle in creating the paper character designs for his film at Laika Studios “Kubo and the Two Strings”.  Megan has taught and presented at conferences in Los Angeles, China, Mexico, Italy, Ireland, Denmark, and Malta.
