Marcelo Vignali is one of the most respected Production Designers, Art Directors, and Visual Development artists in the world of animation. Working in the industry for more than 30 years, Marcelo has become one of the most sought after premiere designers, known for his imaginative ideas and stunning visual designs. Formally trained as an illustrator, Marcelo Vignali brought his unique imagination and illustration skills to animation.

While working at the Disney Studios, he helped create classics such as Mulan, Lilo & Stitch, Brother Bear, Atlantis, Emperor’s New Groove, and Home on the Range. While working at Sony Pictures Animation, Marcelo has helped create the films Open Season, Surf’s Up, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Hotel Transylvania, and the Oscar winning film, Spider-man, Into The Spider-Verse. Twice, the International Animated Film Association has nominated Mr. Vignali for Production Designer of the Year. Once for his work on Surf’s Up, and again for his work on Hotel Transylvania. Marcelo is currently working at Walt Disney Television Animation as the leading art director of the visual development team.
