Kevin O’Brien was born in suburban New Jersey, then attended Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute. There, he wavered from his original goal of working in animation, and majored in Illustration. After graduation, he found himself drawn back to animation anyway, gaining enough experience to join season two of The Simpsons. This began a decade of on the job storyboard training which led to feature film work. He’s been at Pixar for nearly 20 years for a total of 32 years of storyboarding.
