BJ Crawford has worked in the animation industry for over 20 years. He has helped with animation development, design work and storyboarding for such films as “Spies in Disguise”, “Ice Age: Continental Drift”, “Rio 2” and “Epic”. He was part of the team that developed the hand drawn look for the film “The Peanuts Movie” for which he was also nominated for an Annie Award. He has also contributed work for “Nimona” which is currently in production.

Prior to joining Blue Sky Studios in 2010, BJ freelanced as a traditional animator, designer and storyboard artist for such commercial houses as Calabash Animation and LAIKA/House. He is a graduate of Sheridan College.
